Plasma t½ ~2–10 min (intranasal/IV, rat); no rigorous human PK published. Anxiolytic effects reportedly persist 12–24 h via downstream GABAergic gene-expression changes outlasting parent peptide exposure.

About the research
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide developed at the Russian Academy of Sciences' Institute of Molecular Genetics by extending the endogenous immunopeptide tuftsin with a proteolytically resistant Pro-Gly-Pro tail. It is studied as a non-sedating, non-addictive anxiolytic with GABA-A receptor and BDNF-modulating activity, and is used intranasally in Russian clinical practice as Selank 0.15%.
Mechanism, reported research areas, literature dose ranges and co-factor studies are on the research page, with sources. Nothing there is a claim about this product.
