About the research

Melanotan II was developed at the University of Arizona by Hruby, Hadley, and colleagues as a cyclic, lactam-bridged α-MSH analog with enhanced stability and broad activity across MC1R, MC3R, MC4R, and MC5R. Its discontinued clinical development as an erythema-protective agent gave rise to substantial research interest in the dual pigmentary and behavioral effects of melanocortin signaling.

Mechanism, reported research areas, literature dose ranges and co-factor studies are on the research page, with sources. Nothing there is a claim about this product.
