About the research

PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a Palatin Technologies-developed melanocortin agonist derived from Melanotan II. After FDA approval in 2019 as Vyleesi for hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women, it became the only marketed centrally-acting prosexual peptide, and a key research tool for dissecting MC4R-mediated hypothalamic regulation of sexual motivation, satiety, and inflammation.

Mechanism, reported research areas, literature dose ranges and co-factor studies are on the research page, with sources. Nothing there is a claim about this product.
