5.8–8.1 days (~140–195 h) in humans SC; mean ~7 days. DAC = maleimidopropionic acid linker forming a covalent thioether bond to Cys34 of serum albumin. Teichman et al., J Clin Endocrinol Metab 2006.
About the research
CJC-1295 with DAC was developed by ConjuChem as a long-acting GHRH analog using their Drug Affinity Complex platform — a maleimide moiety that forms a stable covalent bond with serum albumin Cys34 in vivo. The resulting bioconjugate produces multi-day elevation of GH and IGF-1, in contrast to the pulsatile signaling of native GHRH, and is studied as both a research tool and historical clinical candidate.
Mechanism, reported research areas, literature dose ranges and co-factor studies are on the research page, with sources. Nothing there is a claim about this product.
